Leveraging the Dongfang Port Industrial Park, Bashi Port prioritizes developing oil and gas storage/transportation alongside advanced manufacturing logistics, serving petrochemical and wind power clusters valued at hundreds of billions of yuan. As a key focus for Hainan Free Trade Port's “second-line port” development, it is accelerating smart upgrades—including deploying China's first intelligent ship-to-shore crane arm to enhance efficiency and safety. Moving forward, Bashi Port aims to become a vital pivot point along the Western Land-Sea New Channel, driving integrated port-industry-city development.
